Monday, July 20: Games and adult entertainment will soon return to cities and towns across the country, after The Grosvenor Casino today announced that it is preparing to open its venues from Saturday, August 1.

Under current government directives, 44 casinos across the country will welcome returning friends and family to enjoy the fun and excitement of visiting the casino for the first time since Grosvenor temporarily closed its facilities in March due to lockout restrictions.

English casinos Grosvenor Casino plan to open its doors from Saturday 1 August. The opening date for locations in Wales and Scotland will be confirmed shortly.

Grosvenor Casinos is working diligently to improve security and clean up all its establishments, ready to take back its customers and team members to create fun games and hospitality such as poker, enjoying food and drink and watching live performances of athletes.

We want to create the best gaming and hospitable experience that guests know and love, and a lot of work has been done to ensure that when we open again, we have the highest standards of hygiene and safety. Former world champion in unified heavyweight boxing and WBA heavyweight champion David Hay in a new video about some of the improved cleaning and social distancing measures that will be introduced on his return to the Grosvenor casino.

When entering the casino, customers will be required to use a hand sanitizer that will be readily available in dispensers, while enhanced cleaning will take place throughout the day, including tables, chips and vending machines.

In order to create the safest entertainment environment possible, each casino will make screens available on all its gaming tables and between electronic machines. There will also be restrictions on the number of people who can play games at any time.

Grosvenor Casino will continue to accept cash and encourages customers to use contactless payments where possible. Security shields will be installed on all desks to protect both team members and customers, and face masks will be offered as an option.

Guests will still be able to enjoy food and drinks with the proper allocation of seats at the table and can get a pre-order at their table or from their vending machine, either through an online app, or by ordering from a parking attendant using a one-time table menu.
